Henry’s at the Farm celebrates the legendary bounty of the Hudson River Valley, sourcing ingredients from local farms and artisan food producers and purveyors. We work primarily with those who practice organic farming and humane animal husbandry. Cheese, meats and poultry come from nearby farms such as Coach Farm, Taliaferro Farms, John Fazio Farms and the seventh generation owned and operated He pworth Farm. We have an extraordinary asset few other restaurants can claim – our own
40- acre Millstone Farm, whose kitchen garden and orchard produce the majority of our fresh greens, organic fruits, vegetables, herbs, honey and eggs throughout the growing season. At Henry’s local isn’t a trend, it’s a mantra.
Henry's encourages diners to stroll the grounds of Buttermilk's 70-acre Hudson River estate before or after dinner. A network of trails leads to breathtaking views of the Hudson River, flowering gardens, bubbling brooks, the property’s impressive namesake waterfalls and enchanting ponds. At Millstone Farm, strollers pass organic orchards, and a lush Kitchen garden. Don't miss our captivating family of rescued livestock who have made Millstone Farm their home - heritage chickens, peacocks, angora goats, llamas and alpacas and donkeys!

Our inspired kitchen and floor staffs prepare and present extraordinary meals in an environment that embraces the spirit of their food. It is at once elegant and rustic, refined, yet relaxed with a field of sculptural wine jug lighting, custom-made wall coverings and delightful views of Buttermilk’s Swan Pond.
Henry’s the concept of farm to table is an integral part of our signature cocktails, taking full advantage of the organic herbs, vegetables and fruits grown right here at our own Millstone Farm - From “Barn to Bar.” Notable examples include The Cuke made with gin or vodka, Millstone Farm mint and cucumber, along with lime and a dash of club soda - and the Lavender Sidecar with honey from our on-site beehives infused with homegrown lavender, with Remy Martin and Cointreau. During cold weather months we resurrect classic hot cocktails such as The Hot Toddy; made with Millstone Farm honey.
Henry’s at the Farm is the realization of a long held dream of Buttermilk Falls Inn + Spa owner Robert Pollock to establish a dining destination restaurant on the property – one that serves the local community, as well as the inn’s guests and embracing the locavore movement.
