From the South (NYC, NJ)
Take I-87 North to exit 17 (Newburgh) Continue on I-84 East to exit 10 (9W, Highland). Travel approximately 11 miles North on 9W until you come to a traffic light at an intersection with the Milton Turnpike. Make a right at this light, onto Milton Turnpike. At the stop sign make a left onto Main St. This becomes North Rd. Buttermilk Falls is the first right after River Knoll Rd.

From the East (Boston, Connecticut)
Take I-90 W/ Mass Pike/ Massachusetts for 55 miles. Merge onto I-84 W via exit 9 toward US-20/ Sturbridge/Hartford and continue for about 138 miles. You will pass through Connecticut and into New York. Take exit 10N for US-9W N toward Highland. Merge onto US-9W for 11 miles. Follow above directions.

From the West
Take I-84 East. Take exit 10 for US-9W/RT-32 toward Newburgh. Make a left onto 9W heading North 11 miles. Follow above directions.

From the North (Albany)
Take I-87 South /New York State Thruway S. Take exit 18 for RT-299 toward New Paltz/Poughkeepsie. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for RT-299 E/Poughkeepsie and merge onto RT-299 E for 5 miles. Turn right at US-9W heading South for 6 miles. Make a left at the traffic light at the intersection with the Milton Turnpike. At the stop sign make a left onto Main St. This becomes North Rd. Buttermilk Falls is the first right after River Knoll Rd.
